Gary Loveless
CHAIRMAN + CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mr. Loveless founded Square Mile Energy in 1998. After resigning as a senior operations engineer for Arco, he co-founded privately held L&B Oil Company, which grew to operate over 175 properties along the Texas Gulf Coast, Permian Basin and in the DJ Basin of Colorado. L&B also owned Rival Drilling, a drilling contractor, and Rival Services, a workover rig service company. In 1986, U.K. publicly traded Great Western Resources, Inc. acquired L&B Oil Company and Mr. Loveless served as President of Great Western’s oil and gas division which grew to operate over 600 properties both onshore U.S. and offshore Gulf of Mexico. In 1994, he became President and C.E.O. of the company, a position he held until 1997 when Forcenergy Inc. purchased Great Western. He served briefly as Forcenergy’s Vice President of Onshore Exploration & Production until October, 1997. He co-founded Dril-Quip, Inc. in 1981; the company went public on the NYSE in 1997 and remains one of the world's leading manufacturers of precision-engineered offshore drilling and production equipment. He holds an M.S. degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. degree from Texas A&M University, both in Mechanical Engineering.
Larry Wilson
PRESIDENT + CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Mr. Wilson joined Square Mile in 2004. He was formerly with Anadarko Petroleum serving as a Senior Staff Production Engineer and Senior Staff Drilling Engineer in their Gulf of Mexico shelf region. He served one year in London in support of Anadarko’s Algerian land rig operation. He worked for Transocean/R&B Falcon/Cliffs serving as Engineering Supervisor for turnkey drilling offshore Gulf of Mexico and inland waters Louisiana. He was General Manager, International Engineering Services in support of turnkey drilling operations. He also worked for Cliffs Drilling Co. serving as Engineering Manager in Maturin, Venezuela in support of turnkey drilling operations. He earned a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and American Association of Drilling Engineers.
Leonard Hruzek
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Mr. Hruzek joined Square Mile in 2014. He formerly worked as Controller of Consolidated Graphics, Inc., which had 70 subsidiaries in 27 states. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Greenhill Petroleum Corporation. He was also with Mesa Petroleum Corporation and served as Controller and Vice President of Marketing and Land. While with Mesa, he managed all aspects of the Accounting Department and served a variety of roles in finance, mergers and acquisitions. He earned a B.B.A. degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mollie Allen
TREASURER + Chief Administrative Officer
Ms. Allen was a founding member of Square Mile Energy in 1998. She has worked for Mr. Loveless in various management, accounting and tax roles with Square Mile and other companies owned within Loveless Enterprises. Prior to joining Mr. Loveless in 1991, she served in a variety of accounting and tax roles at Richards Producing and Crawford Enterprises in Houston, Texas. She holds a B.A. degree in Accounting from The University of Houston Downtown.
Connie Noble
Vice President Land
Ms. Noble joined Square Mile in 2007. She manages a staff of in-house land professionals and numerous contract land brokers in the field. She was formerly employed by Cox & Perkins Exploration, Inc. as Land Manager. During her 21 years with Cox & Perkins, she was involved in all aspects of land work, specializing in lease and contract negotiations, title analysis, and due diligence. She earned a B.S. degree in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Houston in 1991 and she earned the AAPL Certified Professional Landman status that same year. She is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, Houston Association of Professional Landmen and the Women’s Energy Network.

Christopher McIntosh
General Manager, Operations
Mr. McIntosh joined Square Mile in 2012. He is responsible for overseeing daily operations and implementing strategic programs to ensure continual improvement. He is responsible for and manages all construction and production operations. Formerly, he was employed by Noble Energy, Inc. as a Project Engineer and Project Manager in their Gulf of Mexico and Appalachian Business Units. Prior to joining Noble, he worked as a Project Engineer and Lead Field Engineer for Helix Subsea Construction, Inc. in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea, and the Bay of Bengal, India. He earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Christian University and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Matthew Adams
Operations Geologist
Mr. Adams joined Square Mile in 2003. He serves is a geologist in support of the Operations staff. Formerly, he was employed by Sandalwood Oil & Gas, Inc. as a geologist, a Geologist/Geotech for WhitMar Exploration Company and Senior Geophysicist for Schlumberger Geco-Prakla I WesternGeco. Mr. Adams earned a B.S. degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin and is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists.

Kirk Van Sickle
Explorationist
Mr. Van Sickle joined the Square Mile geosciences team as an independent contractor in 2003. He has over 38 years of extensive international and domestic 3D prospect generation experience. Prior to joining the team, he was employed by Stone Energy Corporation and Edge Petroleum Corporation where he was a successful explorationist of onshore and offshore Louisiana prospects. He began his career with a 17 year stint at Mobil, where he found and developed a large field offshore Nigeria. He earned a B.S. degree in Geology from the University of Arkansas and is a member of American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists. Mr. Van Sickle has also authored articles published in The Oil and Gas Journal and The Leading Edge.
Mark Norman
EXPLORATIONIST
Mr. Norman joined the Square Mile geosciences team as an independent contractor in 2011. He has over 36 years of experience with various companies generating prospects, primarily in the Gulf Coast region. Prior to joining the team, Mr. Norman was a consultant with Norman-Price Exploration, LP, primarily engaged by Louisiana Gas Development Corp. Prior to that he was Senior Geologist for Aspect Resources and National Energy Group, and held various exploration positions with Enserch Exploration. He earned a B.S. degree in Geology from Stephen F. Austin State University and an M.S. degree in Geology from University of Texas at Dallas.

Beverly Latimer

Ms. Latimer joined Square Mile in 2013. Her responsibilities include negotiating leases, contracts and obtaining title clearance for drilling projects in Texas. She is also responsible for the due diligence review and coordination of land data for the divesture of company assets. She began her career in the oil and gas industry in Midland, Texas with Coquina Oil Corporation. Since moving to Houston in 1979, she has worked in various capacities for major and independent oil companies performing a variety of land functions. She is a Certified Professional Landman with over thirty-five years of acquired oil and gas industry experience and is an active member of American Association of Professional Landmen and Houston Association of Professional Landmen.
Sandy Reed
Senior land administrator
Ms. Reed joined Square Mile in 2008. She leads the administrative division of the land department, and is involved in all aspects of lease and contract maintenance and administration. She has been in the oil and gas industry for over 30 years, working for various companies including Tenneco, Inc., Amoco Corporation, Coastal Corporation, El Paso Corporation and BP America. She has earned the designation of Certified Petroleum Lease and Title Analyst and is a member of the American Association of Lease and Title Analysts.
